The US National Archives Genealogy Online Series on Public Service: Military & Civilian started on May 3. New live programs will continue until June 14 – but if you miss any of them, you can watch the recordings at any time after the live event. This week’s live webinar (which include the ability to chat with the presenters) will be on Wednesday (May 10 ), on Basic Military Records at the National Archives: Revolutionary War to 1917. The programs are all free and require no registration, and many include handouts as well. They have closed and consolidated their chapters, and totally redesigned their website (which looks great and is easy to navigate). You will still find events from FHSA on the calendar.
