🔵 FREE PROGRAM OFFER PART 2 — AWESOME OPPORTUNITY FOR SOCIETIES & LIBRARIES!
Last week I mentioned the Vivid-Pix Spring Tour, and we received a couple of questions that I wanted to answer: Yes, this is completely free to the host Society, Library, Archive, and Museum. Rick loads up his van with gear and drives around “looking at pretty places and spending time with wonderful people”. Now, most folks know Vivid-Pix for their photo/document improvement software RESTORE, but over the past couple of years, they’ve expanded quite a bit, adding unique education and more unique scanning.

What’s an event look like? It’s really up to you! Events are in-person, and may include scanning stations and training or classes on a variety of topics like photo organization and restoration, genealogy, photo reminiscence therapy, preserving family stories and memories, among others. Events like this are excellent ways to introduce your society or library to your community!! If it helps, here are just a couple of examples of how some societies and libraries have used these events:

What’s the education and programming? https://vivid-pix.com/familymatters
What’s “the gear” Rick brings along: https://vivid-pix.com/memorystation

Are you interested in having a free IN-PERSON event for your members, patrons, and community? Contact Rick for details. https://www.vivid-pix.com/events/

(This is, as always, not a paid advertisement nor affiliate ad in any way. It’s just a great opportunity for genealogical societies!)

Hopefully by now my readers know that ConferenceKeeper.org exists to support genealogical societies. Our main mission is to help connect those seeking genealogy education with those providing it. Be sure your society’s events are being shared! Several societies have reported that having their events on our calendar has not only increased attendance, but their membership as well! It’s free. Really!

If you have any questions, corrections, comments, or concerns, you may reach me through either the CONTACT form on the website or email at info@conferencekeeper.org . – Tami Osmer Mize
