Just about 100 genealogy events were added over the past two weeks and I’m getting caught up finally! I’ve also added some really interesting Genealogy Volunteer opportunities as well on our website page of the same name.

New Volunteer Opportunities:

  • NARA Escape and Evasion Reports – Transcribe typed or handwritten narratives documenting the escape and evasion experience of the escapee or evader.
  • NARA African American History – help transcribe documents of African American history
  • NARA WWI Capture the Caption – Help transcribe the text and captions found on WWI photographs
  • Library of Congress – Help transcribe Library of Congress documents.
