I’ve sent this out just a little bit early this week because there are several new events scheduled for Sunday June 12 (which will be today soon).

SLIG OPPORTUNITY
Next year is only half a year away already! If you’re thinking about registering for the 2023 Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (registration opens July 16), and you’re comfortable with technology, you may want to consider this opportunity which, if you’re chosen, will net you a tuition waiver for the course for which you serve. The Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG) is seeking Hive Minders for SLIG 2023 and the 2023 SLIG Academy for Professionals. Hive Minders are the individuals who help make the virtual classrooms run smoothly. Training and support are provided! To apply to be a Hive Minder during SLIG 2023 or for SLIG Academy for Professionals, please fill out the form found at https://airtable.com/shrEM4sGCDZT015dO . The deadline for applying to be a Hive Minder for either event is June 30, 2022. All applicants will receive notification whether they have been selected via email by July 15, 2022.
