Legacy Tree Genealogists to Sponsor Extreme Genes Radio Show
For immediate release:
Utah genealogists may remember listening to “Fisher and Todd in the mornings” on KISN 97 radio, which ran for 15 years beginning in 1986. Most Utah genealogists probably did not know that Fisher – actually Scott Fisher – is not only a well-known radio guy but an avid genealogist. So much so that he started the first ever syndicated radio show in 2013 and has been running with it ever since, and is now heard on 31 radio stations from Florida to Washington State, as well as by podcast.
“Extreme Genes – America’s Family History Show” is a one-hour weekly program that talks about anything genealogically related (get it?), from cracking murder cases with genealogy to discovering the genealogy of a house. Show sponsors add continuity and expertise to the show.
Extreme Genes is extremely pleased to add the experts of Legacy Tree Genealogists as regular guests on the show. Legacy Tree is a client research firm and MyHeritage.com’s (another sponsor) recommended research partner. Since 2004 Legacy Tree has been canvassing the globe searching for genealogies of clients as far reaching as China, Turkey, and South Africa.
After airing on radio, Extreme Genes is available as a podcast, with new shows released every Monday. Find it on iTunes, iHeartRadio’s Talk Channel, Stitcher, Tune-In, and ExtremeGenes.com. You can also follow the show on Facebook and Twitter.
Other national sponsors include: MyHeritage.com, 23andMe.com, FamilySearch.org, and RootsMagic. Extreme Genes also partners with the New England Historic Genealogical Society and features their Chief Genealogist, David Allen Lambert, as a show regular.
