There are only two more days left to save $30 on registration for the Professional Management Conference (PMC) being held September 22-24 at the Ft. Wayne Public Library. Early bird deadline is Friday, July 15, at midnight (MDT).
We are unable to livestream this year, so if you were planning to attend virtually, you may give extra thought to attending in person. We will be recording twelve sessions for sale following the PMC, but attending in person allows more networking and attendance at workshops which will not be recorded.
The library will be open for PMC attendees ONLY on Friday night. The evening will begin with a pizza party hosted by MyHeritage who will also be giving away door prizes. Two informal discussion groups will be hosted Friday evening – one on Starting a Genealogy Business and another on Starting a Forensic Genealogy Business.
Mary Tedesco, a Host on the PBS TV series Genealogy Roadshow will share some of her favorite moments and insights from behind the scenes and in front of the camera from seasons 2 and 3 during the Thursday lunch.
You won’t want to miss a rare opportunity to have “A Conversation with Tom Jones” on Thursday. Tom will answer questions about his lifelong career in genealogy, including (but not limited to) research, reasoning, writing, documenting, publishing, teaching, learning, mistakes, working with clients, and personal professionalism.
To learn more about the FULL THREE DAYS of 27 sessions with experts who know the needs of genealogical professionals, go to www.apgen.org/conferences.
