ALL of the upcoming genealogy events.

. . . . . .

It’s great to see more Calls for Papers & Presentations coming in again. The summer was pretty quiet in that regard, but this week FOUR new Calls were added.  In addition, 102 events were also added, and like last week, quite an excellent variety of topics. Let me say that if I were in Maryland, I would definitely attend the Sept. 7 event by the National Museum of Civil War Medicine: Beers and Bonesaws: Putting the “Pub” in Public History. I mean who wouldn’t want to “Hear astonishing stories from Civil War medicine while sipping on your favorite beverage”?

Also newly added is the program information for an in-person all-day genealogy fair coming September 10 in Tyler, Texas. I’m looking forward to being a presenter at  “Discovering Your Roots & Branches” – the 20th Annual Family History Fair.  The celebration was originally scheduled for two years ago, but, well, COVID, you know…  Registration for the full day of genealogy education is free, but you have the option to purchase a boxed lunch, syllabi on a USB drive, or a special 2 hour workshop if you’d like. Full details are at https://discoveringyourrootsandbranches.com/

That’s all I’ve got for you for this week.  I’d love to hear from you if you’ve got any suggestions or questions. You can use the CONTACT form on the website or email me at info@conferencekeeper.org. I always sincerely appreciate your input! And as always, thank you for reading 🙂
