  • Lorenzo Delmonico, 1813. Restaurateur and gastronomic authority.
  • Abigail Powers Fillmore, 1798. First wife of Millard Fillmore, 13th president of the US. The first White House resident to bring books into it.
  • L. Ron Hubbard, 1911. Science fiction writer, recluse, and founder of the Church of Scientology.
  • Percival Lowell, 1855. American astronomer, and founder of the Lowell Observatory at Flagstaff, AX. Began the search that resulted in the discovery of Pluto.
  • Ken, 1961. Barbie’s beau.
  • Edward “Butch” O’Hare, 1914. Aviator. Earned the first Congressional Medal of Honor in World War II. O’Hare International Airport in Chicago was named in his honor.
  • Joseph Priestly, 1733. Discoverer of oxygen. Gosh. what would we have done if he hadn’t?
