The 27th North Arkansas Ancestor Fair, sponsored by Searcy County Historical Society, will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 4 at First Christian Church on U.S. 65 in Marshall, Ark.

County and family genealogists and historians are invited to set up information tables beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Ray Hanley, author of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s “Arkansas Postcard Past” feature, will speak at 1:30 pm. His presentation will be “A Picture Postcard History of Searcy and Newton Counties.”

Admission is free for all events, but donations will be accepted. First Christian Church is next to Simmons First National Bank, 300 U.S 65 N. An Ancestor Fair sign will be at the entrance.
