- Alexander Hamilton, 1755. He is best known as an American founding father, diplomat, soldier, and co-author of the Federalist Papers, but probably equally known for his death due to a gunshot from a duel with Aaron Burr.
- John A. MacDonald, 1815. Born in Scotland, he was the first prime minister of Canada.
- Alice Paul, 1885. Founder of the National Woman’s Party in 1913.
