Why are we asking you to help out with a donation?
We love being able to serve the genealogy community all over the world by finding, posting, and sharing genealogy events of all kinds, from conferences to calls for papers to contests – connecting the people with the information to the people who are looking for the information. And we think we do it pretty well.
In just 30 days since the new Conference Keeper website launched, it has become the most complete calendar of genealogy events available on the Internet. And as more and more people are becoming aware of this resource, the number of submissions arriving in our email keeps growing.
We are just two gals providing this service because we wanted to fill a community need. But much as we enjoy doing this, there always seem to be new expenses popping up. Expenses such as software upgrades to make the best user experience possible on the website, as well as regular hosting fees, coming straight from our own pockets.
