Save the date for RootsTech 2018: February 28-March 3, 2018. Note that the conference is much later than previous years!

RootsTech 2018

We are once again Ambassadors for the awesome genealogy/technology conference RootsTech 2018, so be sure to  for all the latest updates. You can easily find RootsTech updates on our menu bar, under Conferences > RootsTech Survival Guide.

The Conference has several big changes for 2018.

  1. The conference begins a full day earlier the previous years, with classes being offered beginning on Wednesday, February 28.
  2. The previous new-technology showcase Innovator Summit and Innovator Showdown are now going to be the all-new Innovation Showcase and fill be featured following Steve Rockwood’s general session address.  Genealogy companies of all sizes will have the opportunity to present their ideas for the chance to win the title  ‘Best Family History Innovations in 2018.’
  3. Expanded hours for the Expo Hall – including a Wednesday night preview opening from 6-8pm.
  4. Conference check-in will be available beginning Tuesday, February 27.

RootsTech Survival Guide: Events & Keynotes – Dates & Times!

I made up this quick cheat sheet for the Keynotes, Events, and Registration & Expo Hall hours. I’ll admit this is for my own benefit as much as for anyone else. While the class schedule is always something that I pour over and over, I am forever looking for the specifics on which day which keynote speaker is speaking, when the vendor hall opens/closes and which day special events are.

Wednesday, February 8
